According to her statement to the police, the accused, identified as 22-year-old Rahul Yadav from Handia in Prayagraj district, raped her and recorded the assault on video, leveraging it to coerce and blackmail her. The victim, fearing the spread of the video, found the courage to approach the authorities, leading to the arrest of the accused.

The police confirm that the accused repeatedly threatened the victim with the dissemination of the video until March 5, inducing immense psychological distress. Following the victim's complaint, a case has been filed against Rahul Yadav, and he has been apprehended by the authorities. While the medical examination of the victim is pending, the police assure that investigations are underway to ensure justice is served in this deeply troubling case.
